Every home holds pieces of a story—memories, objects, routines, relationships and the people who inhabit it. Our role is to understand those pieces, discover what is missing, and bring them together with intention.
Whether we are transforming an existing home or creating one from scratch, we believe the most meaningful spaces are not designed around a particular style. They are shaped around the people who live in them.

02 — MEET THE ONE BEHIND KINTSUGI
Hi, I'm Smriti.
My journey into interiors began long before I started designing homes. With a background in Fine Arts from Chandigarh and Design from New Zealand, I’ve explored creativity through sculpture, murals, animation and VFX, jewellery, footwear—and eventually, spaces.
I realised that rooms could be my largest canvases: ones that could be lived in, experienced and loved every day.
Moving from Chandigarh to Mumbai taught me to bring creativity and practicality together. Today, through Kintsugi, I look beyond how a space should look to understand how it should feel, function and live.
I believe good design begins with understanding what is already there—preserving what holds meaning, discovering what is missing, and adding only what makes a home feel more complete.
Because ultimately, it should feel like you.

Every project is different. The scope, size, level of transformation and extent of our involvement all influence the investment. We'll understand your requirements first and then recommend an approach that makes sense for your home.
Timelines depend on the scope of work. A simple refresh may take a few weeks, while a renovation or complete transformation can take several months. We'll establish a clear timeline at the beginning and keep you informed throughout.
Absolutely. In fact, we believe some of the most meaningful elements in a home are the ones that already have a story. Where possible, we'll preserve, restore and incorporate the things that matter to you.
Not necessarily. Depending on the scope of our involvement, we can coordinate with contractors and vendors on site and keep you updated throughout the process.
